Explore Mufasa's journey from an orphaned cub, separated from his parents by a flood, to becoming the revered king of the Pride Lands. Along the way, he is rescued by a young lion named Taka. Their evolving relationship, alongside challenges from rival prides and personal ambitions, shapes Mufasa's path to royalty.
